2023/07 to Present

Founder

Building software that lets teams run business operations through conversation.

  • Work spans product design, web and mobile interfaces, integrations, and agent workflows for questions, monitoring, and scheduled actions.
  • Building Constructor, a companion product for creating applications from a description.

Nixtla

Present

Head of Web

First and, for most of my time there, sole web engineer for a time series AI company.

  • Created the first API serving TimeGPT, the developer dashboard, and the website.
  • Own monitoring tools, analytics, HubSpot integrations, and internal AI products.
More about this work at Nixtla

The first web engineer

As of October 2026, I had worked at Nixtla for a little over three years. I was the first web engineer and, for most of that time, the only person in that role. I continue as Head of Web.

TimeGPT and the developer experience

I created the first API serving the initial TimeGPT model, along with the developer dashboard and website. This covered the web products and interfaces through which developers accessed the forecasting service.

Monitoring, analytics, and internal products

I built monitoring tools and took responsibility for analytics and HubSpot integrations. My remit also includes several internal AI products that have not been publicly released.

Selected public work

  • Put the fix where the routes live

Four obsolete documentation URLs returned 404s. I added redirects in Nixtla's Mintlify configuration, which owns the documentation routes. The website forwards documentation requests there. The merged change maps each old address to its replacement, with destination checks recorded in the pull request.

  • Replace the previous documentation output

I updated both preview and production documentation workflows to remove the previous HierarchicalForecast output before copying the rebuilt directory. This makes replacement explicit instead of copying new files over an existing output directory. The public diff shows the change in both workflows.

amiloz

2021/07 to 2022/12

Cofounder & CTO

Built the first products for a company supplying corner stores in Mexico. Y Combinator W22.

  • Built the first API, website, and iOS, Android, and web apps for customers, warehouses, and deliveries before fundraising.
  • We raised more than USD 3.5 million. I hired and led a technology team of seven in a company of 80 people.
More about this work at amiloz

From the first apps to the engineering team

Before we raised funding, I built the software myself: the API, website, and iOS, Android, and web applications for customers, warehouse teams, and delivery drivers. My remit also covered internal tools and analytics.

We went through Y Combinator W22, raised a little over USD 3.5 million during my time there, and served hundreds of business customers. The company reached 80 employees, including the technology team of seven that I hired and led.

The next direction

I wanted to focus fully on AI, while my cofounders wanted to pivot toward lending. We agreed on a founder separation that included a small personal exit. The company now operates as BelozFi.
